Bio of Elizabeth

A Pittsburgh native, I have a lifelong love for creating art. I am always looking for new ways to bring art to people. This is mostly through creating individually designed pieces for people to either wear or enjoy in their homes. I enjoy working with people, which led to me teaching classes for the past four years at Boyd Community Center in Pittsburgh

Glass mosaic is my media of choice. My creations vary in scale from small pendants, up to the restoration of the large mosaic inlays of the Union Trust Building. In between these extremes are freestanding sculptures, window installations, furniture inlays, and the melding of metal such as bike parts and mosaic images. I have explored versatile subject matter, but my love of the outdoors, animals, and bicycling form dominant themes.
